Where did you travel this past summer? How long were you there?
I travelled to China this summer for a month. More specifically I went to Xi’, Beijing, Qingdao and Hong Kong
What was the most memorable memory about your trip/Internship?
Every piece of my trip to China is unforgettable. I cannot possibly choose between climbing the majestic Great Wall and standing in the presence of the ancient Terracotta Warriors. Even commuting on public transportation was a whole new experience in China. Everywhere I stepped, the Chinese culture was overwhelming, and that is what made my trip extraordinary.
What advice would you give students who are contemplating studying abroad or doing an internship out of state?
Do it! It’s an experience you don’t want to miss out on! Go with a friend! And if you can’t, don’t be afraid to go alone. I seem to get the best taste of the culture when I travel alone. Plus, you will get always meet friends along the way
